                                 AGM Statement                                 

Surgical Innovations Group plc ("AIM:SUN"), the designer and manufacturer of
innovative surgical devices, announces that at the Annual General Meeting held
today all resolutions put to Shareholders by the Board were duly passed.

Speaking at the meeting, Doug Liversidge, Chairman, said:

"I am pleased to report that the Group has made substantial progress over the
last six months. Our core Instruments division has once again performed
strongly with an overall increase in product sales. Given that the EndoFlex
product has proved to be versatile in its application to industrial sectors, we
are confident that there is the prospect of additional upside from new design
projects in 2007.

"The Directors believe the Group is well placed to achieve our objectives of
delivering improved profitability and enhanced shareholder value."
