AIS Class B Distribution Agreement

SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC

                      AIS Class B Distribution Agreement                       

The Directors of SRT are pleased to announce that the Company has signed an
agreement with True Heading AB of Sweden for the distribution of SRT's AIS
Class B product.

True Heading is based in Stockholm and is primarily targeting the 400,000
vessel Swedish market with a range of marine electronic equipment. The
directors of True Heading have many years' experience of the AIS market having
previously worked for Saab's marine division. True Heading is already working
with the Swedish authorities and believes that the market for AIS Class B in
Sweden and other Scandinavian countries will be considerable.

Under the distribution agreement, True Heading will purchase complete AIS Class
B transponders, which SRT is having manufactured on its behalf in China.

Simon Tucker, SRT's Commercial Director said: "SRT has known the management of

market share in Scandinavia."
