$1.1m AIS Order

SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC $1.1 million AIS order The Directors of Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT" or the "Company") are pleased to announce that SRT Marine Technology Limited ("SRT Marine") has signed an AIS distribution agreement and received an initial order worth US$1.1 million from a new international distributor. Under the agreement SRT Marine will supply the distributor with AIS Class B PCB modules for use in a range of AIS-enabled products. The initial order is to fulfil existing orders held by the distributor and is expected to be delivered within the next six months. The distributor is a large multinational company with an extensive sales and distribution network and established brand. This network will be used to access the growing number of AIS opportunities around the world. In addition SRT Marine has agreed to support the distributor with an international marketing campaign targeting 500,000 commercial fishing vessels which present a major potential opportunity for AIS Class B. This campaign is expected to commence in November and last for up to six months.
