                               NOTICE OF RESULTS                               

Sopheon plc announces that its 2005 preliminary results statement will be
released on 18 April 2006. As previously announced, the 2005 results are to be
reported under International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS") and this
has also required restatement of the 2004 comparatives. In prior years, the
group has reported its financial statements in conformity with UK Generally
Accepted Accounting Practice.
