Purchase of shares for cancellation

Matrix Income & Growth 2 VCT plc announces that on 27 April 2007 it purchased
300,000 Ordinary Fund Shares at a price of 78.75 pence per share for
cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 12,041,147 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence and
9,145,990 C Ordinary Shares of 1 pence in issue.
