Sloan LED Acquisition

JZ CAPITAL PARTNERS ACQUIRES EQUITY STAKE IN SLOAN LED 19th May 2015 JZ Capital Partners Limited (LSE:JZCP.L or "JZCP"), the London listed private equity fund that invests in high quality US and European microcap companies and US real estate, has closed a co-investment alongside Baird Capital Partners ("BCP") in Illumination Investments LLC, d.b.a Sloan LED ("Sloan"), a manufacturer of LED lights and lighting systems. JZCP invested US$4.9 million in the transaction. Founded in 1957, and based in Ventura, California, Sloan is a market leader in the signage, spa and channel lighting sectors and has started to look into new applications to expand its offering.
