Headline: Second Interim Dividend

The Directors of Invesco Perpetual UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc
announce that they have declared a second interim dividend for the year ended
31 January 2010, of 2.7p per share, payable on 31 March 2010 to Ordinary
Shareholders on the register on 12 March 2010. The shares will be quoted
ex-dividend on 10 March 2010.

This dividend is being paid, exceptionally, in March. In future, dividend
payments will be paid in line with previous years.
