The issuer advises that the following replaces the issue of equity announcement
released on 2 January 2013 at 16:46 under RIS number PRNUK-0201131647-2C17. The
issued and allotted shares should have read 2,409 ordinary 25p shares and not
1,000 ordinary shares as previously announced. The total issued ordinary share
capital is 96,822,685 and not 96,821,276 and the number of subscription shares
not yet exercised is 17,232,149 and not 17,233,558 as previously announced. The

Fidelity Japanese Values PLC announces that on 2 January 2013 the Company
issued and allotted 2,409 ordinary 25p shares with effect from 31 December 2012
in respect of shares arising on the exercise of the conversion rights attaching
to subscription shares.
The total issued ordinary share capital is now 96,822,685.
The conversion rights attaching to a total of 17,232,149 subscription shares
have not yet been exercised.
