                     NOTICE OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING                      

The board of directors (the "Board") of Datang International Power Generation
Co., Ltd. (the "Company") hereby announces that a meeting of the Board will be
convened on 30 October 2014 (Thursday) to consider and approve, among others,
the unaudited 2014 third quarterly results of the Company and its subsidiaries
for the nine months ended 30 September 2014.
