Transaction in Own Shares

Chelverton Growth Trust PLC

The Company announces that on 6 November 2006 it purchased 121,603 Ordinary 1p
shares for placing into treasury at a price of 30.5p per share, pursuant to the
authority granted at its Annual General Meeting held on 13 December 2005.

Following this transaction the number of shares in issue remains 18,141,939, of
which 271,603 are now held in treasury.
