The Capita Group Plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

The Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 164,818 ordinary shares in the
Company on 24th August 2010 at a price of 699.59p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 14,303,553 shares in Treasury
and has 613,174,142 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
