Transaction in Own Shares

The Capita Group Plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

The Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 750.000 ordinary shares in the
Company on 17th May 2010 at a price of 807.56p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 5,603,284 shares in Treasury and
has 621,872,211 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
