Transaction in Own Shares

Capita Group plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

Capita Group plc announces that it purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares in the
Company on 7th May 2010 at a price of 772.09p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 3,753,284 shares in Treasury and
has 623,669,626 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
