BlackRock Commodities Income Investment Trust plc - Listing Rule 15.5.1(4)

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1(4), BlackRock Commodities Income
Investment Trust plc ("the Company") announces that it is satisfied that all
inside information, which the Directors and the Company may have leading up to
the announcement of the half yearly results for the six months ended 31 May
2008, has been notified to a Regulated Information Service, and, therefore, the
dealings referred to in Listing Rule 15.5.1(3) are permitted.
