Transaction in Own Shares

The Board of Baronsmead VCT 2 plc announces that on 3 December 2013 the Company
purchased 100,000 ordinary shares of 10p at a price of 98.00 pence per share to
be held in Treasury.

Following the share buyback, the Company's issued ordinary share capital
consists of 85,338,769 shares of which 10,123,819 shares are held in Treasury.
Therefore the total number of shares in circulation which hold voting rights in
Baronsmead VCT 2 plc is 75,214,950 ordinary shares of 10p. Each share has one
voting right.
