Transaction in Own Shares
Baring Emerging Europe PLC announces that on 18 April 2007 it purchased 225,000
of its own ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of £7.67 per ordinary share.
These shares will be held in treasury.
Following the transaction, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
42,854,906 (excluding treasury shares) and 44,359,906 (including treasury
shares) ordinary shares of 10p each. The total number of treasury shares held
by the Company is 1,505,000.
