Alliance Trust PLC announces declaration of an interim dividend of 1.875
pence per share payable on 31 January 2007 to shareholders on the register 
on 5 January 2007. The ex-dividend date is 3 January 2007.
 
This dividend is in line with that indicated in our Interim statement dated 
18 September 2006.
