Plans to amend terms of Senior Credit Facilities

Smurfit Kappa Group plc ('SKG' or the 'Group') today announced that it is
seeking approval from lenders to amend certain terms of its senior credit
facilities including a reduction in margin across each of the facilities.

This will result in a reduction in the Group’s overall cost of debt.
