XPS Pensions Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of April Talintyre and Michelle Cracknell as Independent Non-Executive Directors, effective immediately. April and Michelle will both join the XPS Remuneration, Nomination and Audit & Risk Committees.

 

April Talintyre is a qualified accountant with extensive financial and strategic leadership experience in financial services. April was previously Chief Financial Officer at OSB Group plc from 2012 to 2024. Prior to that, April held a number of senior finance roles at The Goldman Sachs Group between 1994 and 2010, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of their Insurance and Pensions Principalling Business from 2007 to 2010. April is currently a Non-Executive Director at Motability Operations Group plc.

 

Michelle Cracknell is an experienced pensions expert with over 30 years' experience in the regulated financial services industry. Michelle was Chief Executive Officer at The Pensions Advisory Service from 2013 to 2018. Michelle is currently a Non-Executive Director at Just Group plc, where she chairs the Remuneration Committee; PensionBee Group plc, where she chairs the Audit and Risk Committee; Sport England, where she chairs the Audit, Risk and Governance Committee; and Fidelity Holdings (UK) Ltd, where she chairs two of the regulated boards. Michelle is a Director and Trustee of the Lloyds Banking Group Pension Trustees Ltd.

 

XPS also announces that Margaret Snowdon OBE, Independent Non-Executive Director, will step down from the Board effective 26 March 2026, in line with the Group's succession plan following 9 years of tenure as a Non-Executive Director.
