Board Changes

Xaar plc ("Xaar", "the Group" or "the Company"), the leading inkjet printing technology group, announces the appointment of Daniel Dayan as Chair and Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 14 October 2026. On appointment Daniel will become a member and Chair of Xaar's Nomination Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Ben Stocks will step down as Chair and Independent Non-Executive Director at the same time to take up an alternative position.  The Board would like to thank Ben for his contribution to the progress of the Company over the last year.

Daniel has considerable experience leading public and private global industrial businesses, both as an Executive and Non-Executive Director and Chair. Since 2022 he has served as Non-Executive Chair of Bodycote plc, a FTSE 250 industrial company, currently the subject of a recommended offer from Veritas Private Equity, and currently also serves as Non-Executive Chair of Watson Fuels and Aquaspersions Group, both private businesses. He is also a Non-Executive director of a small number of private companies. He has held a number of senior Board roles over the past 20 years, including as Non-Executive Director of Chemring plc, Chair of Low & Bonar plc, CEO of Fiberweb plc and LINPAC Group.

Daniel commented, "Xaar is an IP-rich company with substantial competitive advantage and will benefit from significant growth trends involving precision deposition and additive manufacturing. Over the past six years, Xaar's team has worked hard to extend the end market applications for its unique technology, including into advanced manufacturing as well as high-value niches in existing industrial print applications. I look forward to working with the Board and the wider executive team to support Xaar in achieving its full potential."

John Mills, CEO of Xaar commented: "I would like to welcome Daniel to Xaar. His experience and background are very relevant as we progress on the next stage of our growth journey and the executive team look forward to working with him."

Ben Stocks commented: "Xaar's highly experienced executive team have a clear view as to the next steps needed in their exciting growth journey, and I wish them and the Board well as they execute their plans. For reasons of professional focus and concerns about over-boarding, now is a good time for me to step away."

This announcement is made in accordance with UKLR 6.4.6R. The Company confirms there is no further information to be disclosed under the requirements of UKLR 6.4.8R in relation to the appointment of Daniel Dayan.
