Q4 launch of TranscripTx™ genetic test

Verici Dx Plc, (AIM: VRCI), a developer of advanced clinical diagnostics for organ transplant, announces it will be launching TranscripTx™, a first-in-class genetic test specifically designed for the transplant community, in Q4 2026.

TranscripTx™ is an innovative genetic test designed to identify key variations in a person’s genes that are known to impact biological processes relevant to transplant patients. These variations, known as polymorphisms or genetic variants, can assist in patient management by informing clinicians about the way a transplant recipient may respond to therapy or may help assess their long-term risk of graft failure. This information may help accelerate new drug development, inform ongoing clinical trials, and ultimately, improve medical management protocols.

The test uses next-generation sequencing to measure genetic variants found in peripheral blood RNA. TranscripTx™ will be offered as a laboratory developed test (‘LDT’) in Verici’s CLIA-certified, CAP accredited laboratory.

TranscripTx™ incorporates AI-enabled evidence-based gene selection specifically tailored to transplant. The genes are backed by peer-reviewed literature1 to provide clinically meaningful insights, and it is the only multi-gene panel developed specifically for transplant recipients. Leveraging Verici’s deep expertise in RNA diagnostics, the test will also be capable of detecting clinically-relevant genetic splice variants that are impossible to detect using cell-free DNA technologies.

TranscripTx™ demonstrates the strategic value of Verici’s extensive repository of clinical data and biological samples to rapidly perform retrospective analyses and commercialise new diagnostic products.
