Verici Dx plc
("Verici Dx" or the "Company")
Certified Service Provider agreement with Olink®
Verici Dx Plc, (AIM: VRCI), a developer of advanced clinical diagnostics for organ transplant, announces it has achieved status as an Olink Certified Service Provider, part of Thermo Fisher's Life Sciences Solutions.
This designation allows Verici Dx to provide Olink-based proteomics assay services at its CAP-certified/CLIA-accredited laboratory, supporting biomarker discovery, algorithm development, validation, application in clinical trials, and diagnostic use both internally and as a service. In addition to analysing samples from clients, Verici Dx will use the Olink platform to advance its own pipeline of protein biomarker-based development.
Olink Certified Service Providers form a network of leading contract research organisations and service laboratories. To achieve certification, each organisation must complete rigorous training, annual concordance testing and re-certification, demonstrating its ability to deliver Olink workflows to the highest quality standards.
While many Olink service providers focus primarily on sample analysis, Verici Dx offers a fully integrated solution:
· Discovery-driven insights: Advanced bioinformatics capabilities enable large-scale interrogation of proteomic datasets, supporting identification of novel biomarkers and disease signatures across thousands of proteins and patient samples.
· Development-ready infrastructure: Verici Dx operates within a CAP/CLIA/ISO-compliant environment, providing the rigor, documentation, and quality systems required to translate discoveries into clinical-grade assays.
· Multi-omics expertise: The Company's experience across genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics allows for a more comprehensive understanding of disease biology and biomarker performance.
Verici Dx has successfully applied its Olink-certified capabilities in a recent collaboration with a major pharmaceutical company evaluating samples from a GLP-1 clinical trial. The project leveraged a custom proteomic panel to evaluate biomarker responses in patient samples, with results contributing to ongoing scientific analyses and data submissions. This work demonstrates Verici's ability to execute complex, high-value projects with leading pharmaceutical and industry partners.
Patti Connolly, Chief Operating Officer of Verici Dx, commented: "Achieving Olink certification is an important milestone that reflects the strength of our laboratory team and our commitment to scientific excellence. What truly sets our laboratory apart is the ability to go beyond sample processing. We bring together deep bioinformatics expertise and a CAP/CLIA/ISO quality system framework to support customers from biomarker discovery through product development and beyond. Proteomics is a critical component of precision medicine and the broader multi-omics landscape. By integrating advanced proteomics with bioinformatics expertise, Verici Dx can help organizations generate more meaningful biological insights and translate complex data into clinically relevant applications."
