Tungsten West (AIM:TUN), the owner and operator of the Hemerdon tungsten and tin mine ("Hemerdon" or the "Project") in Devon, UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of Katherine Callaghan, who will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director of the Company and Chair of the Remuneration Committee with immediate effect.

 

Kathy is an experienced Non-Executive Director and senior HR executive with significant board, governance and leadership experience across the engineering, manufacturing, aerospace and defence sectors. She is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of both the High Value Manufacturing Catapult and RLC Aerospace, and was previously a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of AIM-listed Epwin Group plc. Kathy previously held senior executive roles as Group HR Director of Rotork plc, a FTSE 250 engineering and manufacturing group, and at Dyson, where she held a number of senior global HR leadership positions.

 

During her executive career, she has led large-scale organisational transformation, succession planning and senior executive recruitment, supported M&A and business integrations and advised boards on remuneration, culture and workforce engagement. Kathy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
