Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

 

TT Electronics plc (LSE: TTG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Ashton as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of the Company.

Ian will bring significant financial leadership and operational experience to the Group.  He is currently CFO of SIG plc, a role he has held since July 2020. Prior to joining SIG, Ian served as CFO at Low & Bonar plc until its acquisition by the Freudenberg Group, and before that he was CFO of Labviva LLC, a US-based technology company.  He also served in several senior financial roles at Smith & Nephew plc, working at different times in the UK, US and Asia.

Ian will join the Company following the completion of his current notice period of up to a maximum of six months.  A further announcement will be made in due course confirming the date of appointment.

Ian will succeed Richard Webb, who has been TT's Interim Chief Financial Officer since 12 May 2025. Richard will continue as Interim Chief Financial Officer until Ian joins TT and will support an orderly handover. The Board would like to express gratitude to Richard for the significant contributions made during his tenure.
