APIC26 Annual Conference attendance

Strong clinical engagement and growing U.S. presence at largest annual infection prevention conference

Tristel plc (AIM: TSTL), the manufacturer of infection prevention products, announces its successful participation at APIC 2026, the largest annual infection prevention and control conference in the United States, which took place in Nashville, Tennessee from 15-17 June 2026.

The Company, together with its U.S. commercial partner Parker Laboratories, co-sponsored a fully-attended session in the APIC Exhibitor Theatre, in which three infection prevention and clinical leaders shared real-world experience of implanting Tristel ULT, the Company's FDA-cleared chlorine dioxide foam for the high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes. Speakers described measurable operational benefits including faster room turnaround, significant reductions in annual maintenance costs, successful accreditation survey outcomes, and the role of digital traceability tools in strengthening documentation and audit readiness. The session built on two scientific posters on Tristel ULT presented earlier in 2026 at the annual meetings of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America and the American Institute in Ultrasound Medicine, underlining the growing body of clinical evidence and advocacy supporting Tristel's technology among U.S. practitioners.

Engagement with existing U.S. customers was a further highlight of the conference, with continued strong interest in Tristel's technology from current users and growing awareness of additional applications for the Company's chlorine dioxide chemistry across departments beyond those in which customers are already established. This ongoing depth of engagement, alongside a growing body of published posters and user testimonials, reflects the increasing traction of Tristel's technology within the U.S. infection prevention community.

In addition, Tristel showcased Tristel ORL, a high-level disinfectant foam for ear, nose and throat devices, to the U.S. clinicians and infection prevention professionals at APIC for the first time. Based on data supporting its recently granted Health Canada registration, Tristel ORL is intended to provide high-level disinfection with a two-minute contact time and is designed for use at the point-of-care. The Company is progressing towards FDA submission, with APIC providing valuable platform to gather direct feedback from clinicians in anticipation of the regulatory review.

Tristel also formally launched Tristel 3T Pro, the first paid tier of its 3T digital compliance platform. As the first paid tier, 3T Pro introduces advanced customisation, reporting and audit-readiness features, and represents a meaningful step towards building recurring digital revenue alongside the core product portfolio.

Anna Wasyl, Interim CEO of Tristel plc, commented: "APIC is one of the most important events in our calendar and gives us direct access to the U.S. infection prevention community at scale, bringing together clinicians, healthcare professionals and industry leaders. This year we were especially proud to show the breadth of our innovation, from a brand new product area in Tristel ORL through to the launch of 3T Pro and the start of a recurring digital revenue stream. The U.S. is a significant and growing opportunity for Tristel which remains central to the Company's growth strategy, and the engagement we saw at APIC 2026 reinforces our confidence as we build our U.S. presence and advance our regulatory pathway."
