Transense appoints Hamaton and Tyresure as distributors for Translogik

Transense Technologies plc (AIM: TRT), the sensor systems and measurement technology company, has announced the appointment of Hamaton Ltd and its sister company Tyresure Ltd as authorised distributors for its Translogik tyre inspection products and TireTask tyre management software across Europe and the Middle East. The agreement represents an important step in the expansion of Translogik's international distribution network, providing Transense with its first authorised distribution partner with dedicated operations in mainland Europe.

Hamaton Ltd is the European sales and support organisation for the globally recognised Hamaton TPMS brand, while Tyresure Ltd is a specialist distributor of tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and associated workshop technologies. Through Hamaton's established logistics infrastructure, regional warehousing and multilingual sales and technical support, the appointment is expected to improve product availability and customer service across key European markets.

Together, the businesses have established strong relationships with commercial vehicle fleets, tyre service providers and the wider automotive aftermarket throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Under the agreement, Hamaton and Tyresure will distribute the full Translogik portfolio of tyre inspection devices alongside the TireTask digital tyre management platform, enabling customers to capture and manage tyre inspection data digitally.

The Board believes the agreement comes at an important time for the European tyre industry, as regulatory developments including mandatory TPMS fitment on new commercial vehicles and trailers, together with the anticipated introduction of Digital Product Passport requirements and increasing adoption of RFID-enabled tyres, are expected to accelerate demand for digital tyre inspection and tyre management solutions.

Transense will continue to sell directly to customers where appropriate and retains the flexibility to appoint additional complementary distribution partners in the future.

Ryan Maughan, Managing Director of Transense Technologies plc, commented: "We are delighted to appoint Hamaton and Tyresure as authorised distributors for Translogik across Europe and the Middle East. Their technical expertise, established customer relationships and extensive regional infrastructure make them an excellent strategic partner for our business.

"As fleets and tyre service providers increasingly adopt digital tyre management technologies, this partnership strengthens our ability to support customers locally while extending the reach of the Translogik and TireTask platforms across important international markets."

Martin Blakey, Managing Director of Hamaton Ltd and Tyresure Ltd, commented: "Translogik's tyre inspection technology is a natural complement to our existing TPMS portfolio and enables us to offer customers a broader range of digital tyre management solutions.

"With increasing demand for connected tyre data and digital inspection processes across the commercial vehicle and tyre sectors, we look forward to working with Transense to support customers throughout Europe and the Middle East."
