                    Tottenham Hotspur plc ('the Company')

                    Application for listing of securities

The Company announces that application has been made to the UK Listing
Authority for the admission of 232,900 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each in
the Company ('New Ordinary Shares') to the Official List. Application has also
been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission to trading in the New
Ordinary Shares. The New Ordinary Shares have been issued pursuant to the
exercise of options under the 1987 Approved Executive Share Option Scheme.
Such listing and admission are expected to become effective on 10 December
2001.
