             NEW 4-YEAR DEAL WITH ITALIAN SPORTSWEAR COMPANY, KAPPA



Tottenham Hotspur Football Club today announced a new four-year sponsorship deal
with Kappa, as the Club's official shirt and leisure wear partner.  The
Turin-based company is at the forefront of sports apparel and footwear
technology and design.  Kappa provides the award-winning kit for the Italian
National Team, along with that of AS Roma, Real Zaragoza and Feyenoord.  The new
agreement commences 1st July 2002.



Commenting on the new four-year agreement, Daniel Levy, Chairman of Tottenham
Hotspur plc, said:

several  proposals we were very impressed by Kappa's offer.  Kappa's design team
has a proven track record of producing award winning designs that also benefit
