Encouraging Vatomina Infill Drilling Results

Total Graphite plc (TGR.L), the specialist flake graphite company and supplier of the critical mineral for the global energy transition, is pleased to provide an update on its ongoing exploration and resource-definition drilling programme at its Vatomina Project in Madagascar, including encouraging initial infill drilling results from the Old Mine area.

Highlights

•    Positive initial infill results at Old Mine: diamond hole VAT-DD26-026 returned 19m at 3.3% TGC from 36m downhole, including 5m at 6.82% TGC from 44m.

•    Continuity confirmed: in context with historical drilling and mining data, the results are very encouraging in terms of confirming the continuity of a thick near surface graphite seam and support a much clearer understanding of the orebody ahead of the restart mine plan.

•    New Old Mine Extension defined: auger drilling and trenching have exposed a section to the east of the historical workings, the Old Mine Extension, over which a completed cross-section indicates that a significant graphitic resource is potentially present.

•    Next steps: drilling is ongoing ahead of block modelling and pit-shell optimisation to determine the extent and economics of mining this section of the orebody, together with the previously announced Tanandava orebody, to support a robust restart mine plan.

Background to the Drilling Programme

In July 2026, the Company commence a drilling programme at Vatomina to increase the confidence level of the current resources and expand the resource base, with the objective of supporting an updated mine plan and optimising future mining operations.

Previous mining at Vatomina was undertaken in the areas known as Pit B and Old Mine (see Figure 2, Plan Map and Figure 3, Longitudinal Section below).  Auger drilling and trenching have since been conducted and have exposed a section to the east (the "Old Mine Extension").  A programme of in-pit logging and mapping has assisted in determining the direction of folds and faults along the dolerite dykes that cut the sequence, improving the structural understanding of the deposit.

Old Mine Infill Drilling Results

The results from hole VAT-DD26-026 returned a substantial and well-mineralised graphite intercept. A summary of the principal intercept, reported as downhole (apparent) widths, is set out below:

Notes: TGC = total graphitic carbon. Intervals are reported as downhole (apparent) widths; true widths are expected to be lower and will be determined following completion of geological modelling. Grades are length-weighted averages of one- to two-metre sample intervals. Reported intervals apply a nominal lower cut-off and may include internal dilution.

The intercept demonstrates a coherent, well-developed graphite seam at Old Mine and is consistent with the historical drilling completed across the area between 2018 and 2026. The infill result increases confidence in the continuity and tenor of the seam in this part of the deposit and provides important input for the forthcoming resource model and restart mine plan.

The completed cross-section confirms that significant mineralisation is present in this area. The section, together with the plan and longitudinal section below, illustrates the position of the 2026 drilling relative to the previously mined Pit B and Old Mine areas and the interpreted continuity of the graphite band.

Next Steps

Drilling is ongoing. The results will be modelled into an updated geological and resource model, following which block modelling and pit-shell optimisation will be undertaken to determine the extent and economics of mining this section of the orebody, together with the previously announced Tanandava orebody. This work is intended to support a robust mine plan for the restart of mining operations at Vatomina.

The Company looks forward to updating shareholders as further results are received and as the geological modelling and mine planning work progresses.
