Slovakian Desk Research & Licences Transferred

Summary by AI BETAClose X

Tomahawk Metals PLC has completed desk research and transferred three Slovakian licenses, Poproč, Lom, and Strieborna, to a wholly-owned subsidiary, with two additional licenses under application. The research confirmed historical high-grade antimony and gold in these licenses, which offer district-scale potential. Specifically, the Poproč license shows gold grades up to 9 g/t and antimony up to 0.65%, with historical production of 251 kt at 4.12% Sb and 80 kg Au. The Lom license has historical production of 8 kt at 3-7% Sb and 2-4 g/t Au, with channel samples reaching 30.98% Sb, and a 1988 historical resource of 530 kt at 0.98% Sb and 1.5 g/t Au. The Strieborná license, an earlier-stage polymetallic prospect, yielded trench results up to 0.50% Sb and 1.29 g/t Au, with recent underground sampling showing up to 2.86% Sb, 0.62 g/t Au, 455 g/t Ag, and 4.44% Cu. Exploration plans are being finalized for a Competent Persons Report.

Slovakian Desk Research Completed & Licences Transferred

Tomahawk Metals Plc (AQSE: TMHK), quoted on the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market, is pleased to announce the results from the now completed detailed desk-based research, collating all historical available data and the development of 3-D modelling of the licenses in Slovakia.

The three main licenses Poproč, Lom and Strieborna have now been transferred to Tomahawk Metals Slovakia a special purpose vehicle which is owned by the Company. There are a further 2 licenses Zalomy, which is a geological extension of LOM and Zlata Bana which are under application. The Slovakian assets offer district-scale antimony, gold and polymetallic upside, anchored by historically producing high-grade vein systems open at depth and along strike.

The detailed desk top work completed has confirmed that there are a number of exploration targets to be developed, exploration plans are currently being finalised and will be reviewed as part of SRK's Competent Persons Report, which is being undertaken with a site visit taking place this week. The historic data also confirmed high grades of gold and antimony in all the licenses.

Introduction to the Slovak portfolio

The Company's Slovak projects lie in two of the country's historic mining districts. Poproč and Strieborná are in the Gemer region of the Spiš-Gemer Ore Mountains, where gold, silver, copper and iron were worked from at least the 13th and 14th centuries around the mining towns of Rožňava, Dobšiná and Smolník. Poproč was originally mined for gold in medieval times before becoming one of the country's principal antimony producers in the 19th and 20th centuries, with production from the Agneška and Ferdinand vein systems continuing until the mine's closure in the 1960s. Strieborná, in the Dobšiná-Rejdová-Vlachovo district, sits on a polymetallic trend with a long history of small-scale silver, copper and antimony mining dating back to medieval adits, but has seen only limited modern exploration. Lom and Zálomy are located in the Low Tatra Mountains near Tále, in the Ďumbier crystalline zone that hosts Slovakia's largest historic antimony-gold vein deposits, including the Dúbrava and Magurka mines. Antimony-gold veins at Lom were worked underground through the 20th century and a state resource estimate was compiled in 1988 before mining ceased, while the adjoining Zálomy ground in Mlynná dolina records historic prospecting pits and workings that have never been followed up with modern methods.

Poproč License

·  Agneška-Ferdinand continuation: one of the key target areas, the Agneška vein continues toward Ferdinand, traced >2,000 m in shallow exploration pits and outcrops, with surface samples running up to 9 g/t Au and up to 0.65% Sb - confirming a live, gold-rich structural corridor between the two historic systems.

·    New open prospecting space: digitisation defines untested ground between the NW-SE-striking Agneška vein, Ferdinand, and a possible NNW continuation of the Ferdinand vein - a key target for the 2026-2027 planned exploration program.

·   Grades: Upper Ferdinand adit digitised with higher Sb grades (up to 24% Sb) than Lower Ferdinand (high Sb with Bi-Cu-Au credits). Historical production 251 kt @ 4.12% Sb & 80 kg Au (head grades to 10-15% Sb; gold to 10-14 g/t); recent verification up to 17.2% Sb (ALS Romania), 55% Sb (pXRF) and 59.7% Sb & 2.7 g/t Au at surface (historic sampling).

·    Residual blocks & other targets: Ferdinand 4,900 t @ 7.5% Sb & 5.99 g/t Au; Upper Ferdinand 5,400 t @ 5.14% Sb; Agneška 5,200 t @ 5.0% Sb; deep granite-contact stockwork (>200-300 m); ~95 kt dumps + 52 kt tailings with processing potential.

Lom & Zálomy - ultra high-grade shoots, open at depth

·    New prospective area - eastern Lom: newly discovered historical soil sampling profiles run E-W in the eastern part of the Lom licence, where vein orientation changes from N-S to E-W. This change in geometry is confirmed by E-W-running surface exploration pits across much of the Zálomy licence - supporting a continuous structural corridor into the 12.16 km² Zálomy ground (Mlynná dolina: Valachovo, Hviezda, Uhlisko, Brezina).

·    Grades: historic production 8 kt @ 3-7% Sb & 2-4 g/t Au (peak 12.1 g/t Au); best adit channels 2.75 m @ 30.98% Sb, 3.0 m @ 18.46% Sb, 0.95 m @ 23.68% Sb.

·    Resource base & depth upside: 1988 historical resource of 530 kt @ 0.98% Sb & 1.5 g/t Au; shoots traced 500-600 m along strike and 270 m deep, open 80-100 m below the Spodná adit - target of the 525 m drill programme.

Strieborná - earlier-stage polymetallic VMS

·  Target & prospective areas: undiscovered high-grade Sb-Cu-Ag-Zn shoots in the Dobšiná-Rejdová-Vlachovo district; inferred mineralised zones along the primary Strieborná structural trend to be tested with 1,505 soils, 18.21 km² magnetics, 9.53 line-km IP and 1,000 m of drilling. Early-stage soil geochem interpretation revealed two mineralised corridors running E-W

·    2023 trenching - best grades: Trench-3 returned up to 0.50% Sb (5,040 ppm, channel CH3/2 at 55.5-55.8 m; also 0.43% Sb at CH2/2), up to 1.29 g/t Au (50-51 m fault zone) and up to 0.7 g/t Ag, hosted in limonitised fault zones and quartz veins - confirming Sb-Au fertility of the Strieborná trend at surface. Recent UG sampling from a small medieval adit returned up to 2.86 % Sb, 0.62 g/t Au, 455 g/t Ag and 4.44 % Cu (ALS Romania).
