Thruvision Group plc

Canadian Government Contract Award

Thruvision Group plc (AIM: THRU), the leading provider of walk-through security technology ("Thruvision" or the "Company" and, together with its subsidiary undertakings, the "Group"), announces that it has received an order in Canada through its Value-Added Reseller.

This represents Thruvision's first Canadian Government customer and its first deployment in Canada's entrance market, expanding the Company's established presence in the country, where previous orders have predominantly served retail distribution customers.

The 8108 WalkTHRU solution will be deployed at a municipal building to provide secure, efficient and respectful screening of visitors to the Council Chambers. The deployment incorporates SmartSCREEN and DynamicDETECT, and utilises a battery-powered configuration, providing flexibility of deployment.

Having worked together since 2019, delivering people-screening solutions to customers across Canada, this order further demonstrates the value in Thruvision's strategy of working with established regional partners which bring strong local market knowledge and customer support capabilities.

In addition to this, a number of orders have been received recently from new and existing Retail Distribution customers, across the UK, Europe and the US, as well as from a new Government customer in Europe.  These orders are for our WalkTHRU and SpotCHECK solutions including software options.

Commenting on the announcement, Victoria Balchin, CEO of Thruvision, said:

"This order in Canada marks an important milestone for Thruvision, representing our first Canadian Government customer and our first deployment in Canada's entrance market. We are pleased to be expanding our longstanding relationship with this Canadian partner, whose local expertise and support capabilities will be important as we pursue further opportunities with municipalities across Canada, alongside our established presence in Retail Distribution."
