The Board is delighted to announce the appointments of Graeme Proudfoot and Wendy Colquhoun as non-executive Directors of the Company with effect from 1 September 2026 and 1 October 2026, respectively.

 

Graeme Proudfoot has considerable asset management experience and expertise, having spent the majority of his executive career at Invesco, latterly as Managing Director, EMEA and Chief Executive Officer of Invesco Pensions. Prior to joining Invesco, Graeme began his career at Wilde Sapte Solicitors, practising as a corporate finance lawyer in London and New York. He is also Chairman of BlackRock Income & Growth Investment Trust and was previously a director of VPC Specialty Lending Investments plc.

 

Wendy Colquhoun is a qualified solicitor and was, until May 2020, a corporate partner at international law firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP where she specialised in financial services. She has advised investment trust boards for over 30 years on advisory and transactional matters and has a thorough understanding of the regulatory and other challenges they face. Wendy is a non-executive director and senior independent director of Capital Gearing Trust plc, Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund plc and Murray International Trust plc and  a non-executive director of Temple Bar Investment Trust plc. She was formerly a non-executive director and chair of Henderson opportunities Trust plc and a non-executive director of Scottish Financial Enterprise.
