Award of c.€1m Concrete Protection Contract in Offshore Wind

Tekmar Group plc (AIM: TGP), a leading provider of asset protection technology and offshore energy services, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a c.€1 million contract with a leading submarine cable contractor, for concrete protection solutions as part of the development of a major European offshore windfarm project.

This contract is the first order of a concrete protection solution from an existing customer and represents an extension of that relationship. Delivery is scheduled within calendar year 2026.

The award represents an important milestone for Tekmar, strengthening its position in the European offshore wind market, while demonstrating continued momentum in its concrete solutions offering. It also reflects the development of the company under Project Aurora, allowing customers to take better advantage of its asset protection and offshore energy services offer under one integrated platform.

Under the contract, Tekmar will design and manufacture concrete protection and stabilisation solutions to safeguard cables across the windfarm. "Securing this contract marks another positive step in the delivery of our growth strategy. It reflects the ongoing success of the changes taking place within Tekmar, under Project Aurora, which has delivered a record level of backlog to date, driving additional throughput and operational efficiencies across the Company's existing capacity.

"It is also a demonstration of the Company's market-leading position in Asset Protection Technology, the strength of the relationships we have with customers and the progress we are making in broadening our offer to customers across the global offshore wind and oil and gas markets, with the aim of our concrete solutions offer mirroring the success of our wider cable protection technology business."
