DAIS Ethereum Purchase
First Ethereum purchase for the Digital Asset Income Strategy reserve, c.50% below all-time high, to be deployed through Tap Earn
Tap Global Group plc (AIM: TAP, OTCID: TAPIF), the regulated crypto-fintech, announces its first Ethereum ("ETH") purchase for its balance sheet reserve under the Digital Asset Income Strategy ("DAIS"), following the reserve's first Bitcoin purchase on 29 September 2026 and first Solana ("SOL") purchase on 1 October 2026.
Highlights
• 50 ETH acquired at an average price of £1,888.76 (c.US$2,497) per ETH, a total of £94,437.86
• Purchase made c.50% below Ethereum's all-time high of c.US$4,950
• The ETH has been deployed through the Group's Tap Earn programme to generate income
• DAIS reserve holdings now comprise 3 BTC, 500 SOL and 50 ETH, at a total cost of £329,665, together with US$279,258 in stablecoins, held and reported separately from the Group's operational digital assets
• Tap Earn holds more than US$9.0 million of customer assets and has generated cumulative gross yield of approximately US$157,000 since launch in May 2026
DAIS: buy, then earn
Bitcoin, Solana and now Ethereum: each DAIS asset is bought below its peak for the long term and put to work through Tap Earn, the Group's proprietary yield programme, which pays customers weekly. DAIS reserve balances deployed through Tap Earn are included in the programme figures.
Reporting
The Company will provide an update on the reserve's holdings and performance in the near future. In the meantime, shareholders can track the Group's DAIS holdings at investor.withtap.com.
Arsen Torosian, Chief Executive Officer of Tap Global, commented:
"Bitcoin, Solana and now Ethereum. We bought 50 ETH at roughly half its peak price, on our own trading desk, and put it straight to work through Tap Earn.
"That is the DAIS model on repeat. We buy below the peak, and the same engine that already holds more than US$9 million of customer assets and pays out weekly makes the reserve earn for our shareholders. The DAIS is not a hold-only treasury."
Important notes
Cryptoasset values are volatile and may fall as well as rise. Yields are variable and not guaranteed and may fall to zero. Deploying the reserve carries counterparty, custody, liquidity and collateral risks, including liquidation risk on collateralised borrowing. The risk factors relating to DAIS are set out at investor.withtap.com. This announcement does not constitute investment advice or a financial promotion of the Tap Earn programme.
