IT Infrastructure Refresh Contract Win with Dacorum Borough Council

SysGroup plc ("SysGroup" or the "Group"), a provider of managed IT services and cloud solutions, is pleased to announce that its recently acquired subsidiary, Saxis Group Ltd ("SAXIS"), has been appointed by Dacorum Borough Council to deliver a full IT infrastructure refresh programme.

The contract was awarded following a formal competitive tender process and will see SAXIS modernise the Council's private cloud environment, enhancing performance, resilience and cyber security. The refreshed platform is designed to provide improved performance, enhanced recoverability and a more resilient foundation to support the Council's critical public services and future digital initiatives. This engagement builds on a long-standing relationship between SAXIS and Dacorum Borough Council, with SAXIS having supported the Council for more than ten years.

Gary Osler, Technology Manager at Dacorum Borough Council, commented:

"This investment gives us a significantly more resilient and performant platform to support the Council's critical services and digital ambitions. Cyber resilience and recoverability were key drivers for the programme, and the new infrastructure improves reliability, performance and assurance while reducing operational risk. SAXIS have consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of our environment and requirements, which gave us confidence throughout the planning and decision process. Their ability to bring together the right technologies and manage the solution end-to-end made them a natural choice for this programme."

Heejae Chae, Executive Chair of SysGroup plc, added:

"This contract win further demonstrates the strategic value of the SAXIS acquisition. SAXIS brings a high-quality customer base, characterised by long-term relationships built on trust, delivery confidence and deep technical expertise. The business provides SysGroup with enhanced access to public sector and non-profit verticals, alongside strong infrastructure and data platform capabilities that are increasingly relevant to organisations with complex governance and resilience requirements. We are delighted to see SAXIS continuing to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers such as Dacorum Borough Council."
