Synectics Advances AI Product Strategy

AI-powered Synergy SEARCH enters early customer access following successful deployment with first customer

Synectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in advanced security and surveillance solutions, announces a further milestone in its product-led growth strategy, with the introduction of Synergy SEARCH, which uses advanced AI to enable rapid, natural-language search across live and recorded video.

The new technology allows operators to search large volumes of footage using everyday language to describe the people, vehicles, objects or activity they are looking for. Synergy SEARCH rapidly identifies relevant footage, significantly reducing the time required to investigate incidents and identify actionable information from hours, or even days, to minutes.

The ability to locate relevant footage quickly can deliver significant operational value across Synectics' markets - from investigating suspected fraud, disputes and regulatory incidents in casinos, to helping police identify suspects, vehicles and witnesses and reconstruct event timelines, or enabling transport and critical infrastructure operators to understand security, safety and operational incidents quickly.

The technology has been successfully deployed with its first customer and is now available through an early access programme as part of the latest release of Synectics' proprietary Synergy platform.

Further customer demonstrations and engagement are underway ahead of a wider commercial launch later this year.

Designed to work with existing camera estates, the technology can scale across large, multi-camera environments, including deployments with thousands of cameras. This creates potential application across all of Synectics' priority markets, including casinos and resorts, transport, stadiums and venues, public space and critical infrastructure.

Synergy SEARCH represents further progress towards Synectics' ambition to build a differentiated AI-powered operational intelligence and security management platform, seamlessly unifying surveillance with cyber security, data insights and physical security.

It follows the recent launch of Synergy Scene Check, which automates the verification of thousands of surveillance cameras in minutes, and the achievement of UK Government-endorsed Cyber Assurance of Physical Security Systems (CAPSS) certification.

Together, these are important developments in Synectics' strategy to build a more scalable, product-led business, extending the capabilities of the Group's proprietary Synergy platform through AI-enabled software that can be deployed across its existing customer base and create new opportunities across multiple markets and geographies.
