New Stagecoach Orders Totalling £1.5m

Synectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in advanced security and surveillance systems, announces that Ocular Integration ("Ocular"), the Group's wholly owned systems integration business, has received new orders from Stagecoach with an aggregate value of £1.5 million.

The orders include approximately £1.1 million of call-offs under Ocular's recently extended five-year framework agreement with Stagecoach. These relate to the supply and installation of Ocular's CCTV systems on 190 new electric buses being introduced into Stagecoach's fleet.

The systems will be installed on new factory-built vehicles, with the majority of work expected to be completed between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027, supporting Stagecoach's ambition to operate a fully zero-emission bus fleet by 2035.

In addition, Ocular has recently received further orders totalling approximately £0.4 million, outside the framework agreement, for the retrofit of its CCTV systems on 71 buses owned by another UK transport authority and operated by Stagecoach. Delivery of these orders is expected to take place during Q3 and Q4 2026.

All vehicles covered by these orders will be connected to Synectics' Transport Cloud Services, further demonstrating the Company's progress in delivering connected, cloud-enabled solutions for public transport operators, while delivering additional, recurring revenue.

Ocular has worked with Stagecoach since 2003, and these latest orders further reinforce the strength of the long-standing relationship between the two businesses. They also demonstrate the continued relevance of Synectics' technology in supporting safer, more efficient and increasingly connected public transport operations.
