£1.4m Award for UK Regional Authority

Ocular selected to provide advanced on-vehicle surveillance technology across 220 new buses

Synectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in advanced security, surveillance and operational intelligence solutions, announces that Ocular Integration ("Ocular"), the Company's wholly owned systems integration business, has secured contracts with an aggregate value of £1.4 million to provide on-vehicle surveillance technology for 220 new buses being introduced by a UK regional authority.

The contracts cover the supply of a combination of advanced camera technology, digital mirror systems and on-vehicle video surveillance across the new fleet. The solutions are designed to enhance driver visibility, reduce vehicle blind spots and provide comprehensive video coverage to support passenger and road safety.

More than half of the vehicles will also be connected to Synectics' Transport Cloud Services, providing operators with rapid access to critical video and operational data. This enables incidents, claims and disputes to be investigated and resolved more quickly, helping to reduce operational disruption and associated financial risk.

The deployment demonstrates Ocular's ability to deliver integrated technology at fleet scale, further strengthening Synectics' position in the on-vehicle transport market and supporting the growth of higher-quality recurring revenues.

With the new fleet due to go into service this autumn, the project provides continued commercial momentum for Ocular in a market where the Group continues to see significant potential for growth.

Amanda Larnder, Chief Executive Officer of Synectics plc, commented:

"This award demonstrates the growing demand for Ocular's on-vehicle solutions and represents an important win as we continue to grow our position in the on-vehicle transport market.

"Our ability to bring together advanced on-vehicle technology with connected cloud services enables us to deliver greater value for customers while increasing the recurring revenue associated with our deployments.

"We remain focused on building our position in this market and converting our growing pipeline into further contract wins and long-term growth."
