Chair of Stonewater to step down after seven years, new Chief Investment Officer and Company Secretary appointments

Sheila Collins has elected to stand down as chair of Stonewater, one of the UK's leading affordable housing providers, ending her 7-year tenure which has seen an extraordinary period of growth for the organisation. Sheila will be succeeded by Angus Michie, who currently serves on the Board as Chair of Homes and Development Challenge and Assurance Panel, Chair of Stonewater Developments Limited and Chair of Stonewater Commercial Limited. Sheila will officially step down on 30 September. Members of the Board and the Executive Team will be working closely with both Sheila and Angus to ensure a smooth handover.

James Bradbury has been appointed as Stonewater's Chief Investment Officer. This newly created role will combine responsibility for development, strategic asset management and health and safety. James is currently Stonewater's Group Director of Growth and Development and will be stepping into this new position, joining Stonewater's Chief Officer Group, from 15^th June. He is well-known across the organisation, having been part of the company since its inception in 2015.

Stonewater has also announced Syka Sheikh as its new Company Secretary, also serving as Group Director of Governance & Assurance, effective from 22^nd June. The wider team at Stonewater will be working with both James and Syka to support the changes and help them settle into their new roles.
