Stonewater is pleased to confirm the appointment of Jonathan Layzell as its new Chief Executive Officer, following Nicholas Harris's announcement (in April) of his intention to stand down.

Mr Layzell has played a key role in shaping Stonewater since its creation, joining its Chief Officer Group in 2016, having previously held various roles with Raglan HA from 2005. He will take up his new role with immediate effect, from 24/06/25, while current CEO, Mr Harris, will remain in the background for a few months to support the transition.

After leading an extensive recruitment process, Stonewater Chairman, Sheila Collins, described Mr Layzell as the most compelling choice to build on Stonewater's success, citing his extensive knowledge of the sector and his level of ambition to drive the organisation forward.

Mr. Layzell played a key role in establishing Stonewater's successful strategic partnership with Homes England and is a leading voice on sector sustainability and design innovation.
