Transaction in own shares
Standard Chartered PLC ("SC") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of US$0.50 each from Goldman Sachs International pursuant to the share buyback programme previously detailed in the announcement of 29 July 2026 (the "Buy-back").

As at close of business London time on 11 September 2026, SC had applied an aggregate of US$341,422,005.83 to share purchases pursuant to the Buy-back.
Any such share purchases will be effected in accordance with certain pre-set parameters and limits, and in accordance with applicable law and regulation as described in more detail in SC's announcement of 29 July 2026.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 (as incorporated into UK domestic law by the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018), a full breakdown of the individual trades is attached to this announcement.
