SSE plc (the "Company") announces that application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of 5,017,205 ordinary shares (the "Shares").

The Shares will be issued pursuant to the allotment of shares under the Company's Scrip Dividend Scheme in respect of the interim dividend for the year ending 31 March 2026.
