Spectra Systems Corporation, a leader in machine-readable high speed banknote authentication, brand protection technologies, security printing and gaming security software, is pleased to announce that the Company has executed a licensing agreement with Oberthur Fiduciare SAS for Kryptonome, a new public security feature for polymer banknote patented by Oberthur Fiduciare SAS.

The licensing agreement is on favourable terms as the gravure cylinder design for Kryptonome was jointly developed by Spectra's secure printing group formed from the acquisition of Cartor Security Printers in December of 2023 and Riverside Gravure Ltd. Spectra and Riverside Gravure Ltd have patent pending intellectual property which is expected to issue in 2027.
