Signing of an EPC contract for the development of the

"Satu Mare 3" photovoltaic project

Electrica announces the completion of the competitive procedure for the selection of an EPC Contractor and the signing, by its wholly owned subsidiary New Trend Energy S.R.L., of an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contract for the "Satu Mare 3" photovoltaic project, namely the construction of the photovoltaic park, the 110 kV transformer substation as well as their operation and maintenance for a period of 3 years from commissioning, with a total contract value of approximately EUR 27.9 million (excluding VAT).

The " Satu Mare 3" photovoltaic project has an installed capacity of approximately 62,5 MWp and is located within the administrative area of Doba commune, Satu Mare county. The project is thus progressing towards the actual construction phase.

This objective aligns perfectly with Electrica Group's strategy to develop an electricity production portfolio of up to 1 GW by 2030. Funding for the investment costs related to the project will be primarily secured from the funds raised by Electrica through the 2025 green bonds issuance.
