Trading Update and Notice of Interim Results
Skillcast Group plc (AIM: SKL), the governance, risk and compliance ("GRC") software and e-learning provider, is pleased to announce a trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2026 and continues to trade in line with market expectations for the full year.
The Group expects to report revenues of £8.2 million for H1 2026, a 10% increase on the comparative period last year (H1 2025: £7.5 million). The growth continues to be driven by recurring subscription revenues, which increased 15% on the same period last year to £7.4 million (H1 2025: £6.4 million). The share of the revenue from subscriptions increased to 90% (H1 2025: 85%) of total Group revenues. Revenue from non-strategic professional services was £0.9 million (H1 2025: £1.1 million).
The Group's ARR* has increased by 14% over the 12 months to June 2026 to £14.5 million (June 2025 ARR: £12.8 million) and by 5% since the start of the year (December 2025 ARR: £13.8 million). The Group's profit margin has continued to increase due to operational gearing and productivity increases from AI adoption. Overall, the Group continues to trade in line with market expectations for the full year.
The Group had no debt and cash in bank of £13.6 million at 30 June 2026 (31 December 2025: £11.5 million). This represents c.15 pence per ordinary share in the Company.
Notice of Interim Results
The Group will announce its full interim results on 30 September 2026.
Vivek Dodd, Chief Executive Officer of Skillcast Group, commented:
"I am pleased that Skillcast has continued growing in ARR from new clients and upsells at the rate guided in April 2026 when we announced our 2025 full year results. We continue to grow our pipeline, but the political and economic uncertainty, both at home and abroad, has continued to slow decision-making. Skillcast is being seen as a reliable, trusted provider of AI enablement for staff compliance by companies in the UK and EU.
We launched our first AI agent, Aida, in 2025, and we are now introducing the ability to edit courses with Aida. In H2 2026, we will release additional AI services, including Conversational Learning, which leverages AI to save staff time and improve compliance awareness. We believe that the cost efficiencies, superior user experience, and better compliance outcomes will encourage more companies to adopt our products. We continue to explore opportunities to grow organically in new segments as well as through acquisitions."
* ARR (Annualised Recurring Revenue) is calculated by annualising revenue recognised from all client subscriptions on annual contracts in a given month.
