             ST IVES plc - Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of St Ives plc announces the appointment of Lorraine Baldry as a
non-executive director with immediate effect. Mrs Baldry is currently
Managing Director, Services of Regus Business Centres.

Mrs Baldry's previous experience includes a stint at the BBC where she
successfully created and ran an IT Department followed by a senior level role
within German multi-media conglomerate Bertelsmann.

Over a period of eight years within the Prudential Corporation, Mrs Baldry
held a number of senior roles, with responsibility at a strategic and
business level internationally as well as in London.
