Director Shareholding
Severfield-Rowen Plc ('the Company') was advised on Monday 4 February 2002 that
certain of its directors had acquired ordinary shares in the Company.
The following share purchases took place on Friday 1 February 2002, all at 295p.
Peter Levine purchased 13,420 shares, giving a resultant beneficial holding of
63,420 shares (0.32% of issued share capital).
John Featherstone purchased 18,000 shares, giving a resultant beneficial holding
of 81,750 shares (0.41% of issued share capital).
J.Keith Elliott purchased 9,514 shares, giving a resultant beneficial holding of
69,514 shares (0.35% of issued share capital).
Under the rules of the Severfield-Rowen Deferred Bonus Scheme, The Walbrook
Trustees (IOM) Limited purchased 175,881 shares on behalf of the Trust. All of
the executive directors of Severfield-Rowen are potential beneficiaries of the
Trust.
Subsequent to this transaction, the total number of shares in which the
executive directors, through the Severfield-Rowen Deferred Bonus Scheme, had an
interest as potential beneficiaries was 255,331 shares (1.29% of issued share
capital).
