Seraphim Space Investment Trust plc (LSE: SSIT), the world's first listed SpaceTech investment company, publishes its monthly RNS Reach newsletter to provide updates, based on publicly available information, on the Company's portfolio investments, its Manager (Seraphim Space Manager LLP (the "Manager" or "Seraphim Space")) and the wider SpaceTech market. The following newsletter covers August 2026.

SSIT invests $30m from C share issue proceeds in new investment Hubble Network
Following the initial C share investments in existing portfolio companies Pixxel and Zeno Power, SSIT made a $30m (c.£22.2m) investment in Hubble Network, an existing portfolio company of Seraphim Space Venture Fund II and the first new portfolio company added to SSIT using proceeds from the Company's £137m C share issue. Hubble is building what it claims is the first satellite-powered Bluetooth network, enabling standard Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chips, a low-power wireless technology widely used in connected devices, to communicate directly with satellites without requiring mobile networks, gateways or bespoke hardware. SSIT has now deployed more than £40m of the C share issue proceeds and expects a partial conversion of C chares into ordinary Shares will take place following the end of the current quarter. ICEYE valued at more than €10bn following recent €1bn funding round as it expands global footprint
EQT announced that its European Commission-backed Scaleup Europe Fund had completed its first investment by co-leading ICEYE's recent €1bn (c.$1.2bn) Series F funding round, which valued the company at more than €10bn and included €450m of primary investment. The investment highlights ICEYE's growing role in Europe's sovereign space and intelligence capabilities. [Read more]
The company continued its international expansion by establishing new entities in the Netherlands, India and South Korea, while also appointing Chief Executive Officers for its United Arab Emirates and Netherlands entities. Finally, ICEYE partnered with The Water Institute to integrate predictive flood modelling technologies into its flood intelligence platform, expanding capabilities for governments, insurers and emergency response organisations. [Read more]
Xona receives FCC approval for 250+ satellite Pulsar constellation ahead of commercial deployment
Xona received authorisation from the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to operate its planned constellation of more than 250 Pulsar navigation satellites, clearing the final major regulatory hurdle ahead of commercial deployment. The approval enables Xona to move from demonstrating its technology in orbit towards deploying its full commercial constellation, with the first six production satellites scheduled for launch in October 2026. Pulsar is designed to provide stronger, more secure positioning, navigation and timing signals that complement existing Global Positioning System (GPS) infrastructure. [Read more]
HawkEye 360 reports 87% revenue growth and expands US national security role
HawkEye 360 (NYSE: HAWK) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $49.8m, up 87% year-on-year, alongside record international revenue of $21.0m and backlog of $292.2m. The company also highlighted new contracts supporting maritime domain awareness initiatives in the Indo-Pacific region and growing demand for space-based signals intelligence solutions. [Read more]
HawkEye 360 was also awarded a contract under the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) Commercial Radio Frequency Capability Augmentation programme, becoming the first commercial provider to progress from test-and-evaluation work to an operational augmentation role supplying mission-ready Radio Frequency (RF) intelligence data for United States national security missions. RF intelligence uses signals emitted by radios, radars and communications systems to locate and monitor activity on the ground, at sea and in the air. [Read more]
LeoLabs awarded $20.7m US Space Force radar contract
LeoLabs was awarded a $20.68m prototype agreement from the United States Space Force to demonstrate a modified version of its Scout radar system. The transportable radar is designed to improve tracking and sensing capabilities in contested operational environments. LeoLabs said the award validates its strategy of developing commercial technologies that can be rapidly adapted for defence missions. [Read more]
Tomorrow.io wins $49m US weather modelling contract
Tomorrow.io was awarded a five-year, $49m contract by the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to support the Earth Prediction Innovation Center programme. The company will act as prime contractor, leading a team that includes Booz Allen Hamilton and Element 84. Tomorrow.io said the work will help accelerate weather forecasting innovation and operational deployment across the United States. [Read more]
Voyager Technologies reports record $52.7m Q2 revenue and $335.5m backlog
Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) reported record second-quarter revenue of $52.7m and record bookings of $113m, resulting in a book-to-bill ratio of 2.1x. Backlog reached a company record of $335.5m, while Voyager raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $275m-$305m. Management cited strong demand across defence, national security and space infrastructure markets. [Read more]
Zeno Power payload selected for Firefly lunar mission
Zeno Power signed a commercial payload agreement with Firefly Aerospace (NASDAQ: FLY) to demonstrate nuclear power batteries on a future Blue Ghost lunar mission. The payload is designed to keep spacecraft systems operational during the extreme cold of the Moon's two-week lunar night. Launch is scheduled no earlier than 2028 as part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Commercial Lunar Payload Services programme. [Read more]
AST SpaceMobile launches three BlueBird satellites and expands European testing
AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ: ASTS) successfully launched BlueBird satellites 11, 12 and 13, further expanding its space-based cellular broadband network designed to connect directly with standard smartphones without specialised hardware. The company said its next-generation BlueBird satellites are expected to support peak data rates approaching 200 megabits per second (Mbps) and form part of a broader constellation deployment programme, with satellites 14 through 16 already in preparation and production advancing through satellite 42. AST SpaceMobile also announced expanded integration testing programmes across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Ukraine and other European markets in partnership with leading mobile network operators including Vodafone, Orange, Telefónica and Deutsche Telekom. [Read more]

Seraphim New Space ETF launched tracking Seraphim designed Index, with SSIT among its holdings
Following the period end, the Seraphim New Space UCITS ETF launched on 2 September 2026, tracking the Seraphim New Space Index designed by Seraphim Space Manager LLP, the Company's Investment Manager. The exchange traded fund (ETF), operated by HANetf, is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SPCE), Deutsche Börse Xetra (SERA) and Borsa Italiana (SERA).
The ETF provides investors with exposure to a portfolio of New Space companies, including Seraphim Space Investment Trust (LSE: SSIT), providing indirect exposure to SSIT's portfolio of predominantly private SpaceTech companies. The launch broadens the ways public market investors can access the New Space economy, combining exposure to listed SpaceTech companies with indirect access to private companies through SSIT. OHB wins nearly €1bn contract for Europe's IRIS² satellite network
German satellite manufacturer OHB (ETR: OHB) secured a contract worth nearly €1bn (c.$1.2bn) to develop and manufacture 18 satellites for IRIS², the European Union's planned secure satellite communications network. The contract is the first major industrial order announced under the programme, with the first satellites scheduled to launch in 2029 and initial services expected from 2030. IRIS² is designed to provide secure satellite connectivity for European governments and commercial users, strengthening Europe's sovereign communications infrastructure and reducing reliance on non-European networks. Isar Aerospace secures €200m to advance European sovereign launch capability
German rocket company Isar Aerospace secured c.€200m (c.$233m) from the European Space Agency (ESA) under the European Launcher Challenge, the largest award announced under the programme to date. The funding will support the development of future launch vehicles, expansion of testing and launch infrastructure and future missions. The European Launcher Challenge is backed by more than €900m from ESA member states and aims to increase Europe's independent capacity to launch satellites into orbit, reducing reliance on overseas launch providers and strengthening sovereign access to space for civil, commercial and defence missions. LandSpace becomes third private company to recover orbital-class rocket booster
China's LandSpace successfully recovered and landed the first stage of its Zhuque-3 rocket, becoming only the third private company after SpaceX and Blue Origin to demonstrate recovery of an orbital-class booster. Reusable launch vehicles are designed to return and refly rocket stages, helping to reduce launch costs and increase launch frequency. The milestone marks a significant advance for China's commercial launch sector demonstrating the expansion of reusable launch capability beyond the United States. [Read more]
