Board Announcement

Lagos and London - 30th July 2026: Seplat Energy Plc announces that Dr. Emma FitzGerald, Independent Non-Executive Director, has notified the Board that she will not be putting herself forward for re-election at the 2027 AGM and will retire from the Board at the end of the financial year on 31 December 2026 after more than five years' service.

During her tenure on the Board, Dr. FitzGerald has chaired the Remuneration Committee and has also served as a member of the Board Finance and Audit Committee and the Energy Transition Committee, contributing actively to the Board's oversight of governance, remuneration, financial discipline, energy transition and the Company's growth strategy.

The Board has commenced a process to identify a suitable independent replacement and will provide a further update in due course.
