Sanctuary rated C1 by the Regulator of Social Housing

27 May 2026

Sanctuary has received a C1 consumer rating from the Regulator of Social Housing (the Regulator).

These standards assess how well we are supporting our customers. They look at the safety and quality of our homes, how we deliver our services, and how effectively we listen to and engage with our customers.

The C1 rating means the Regulator is satisfied we are meeting the required outcomes across all the Regulator's consumer standards.

During our latest assessment, the Regulator recognised the work we have carried out alongside our customers to improve our repairs service.

Developed in partnership with our customers, this work has delivered better response times and performance, meaning we get to more repairs more quickly for residents.

Craig Moule, Group Chief Executive, said: "We exist to serve our customers - and they will always be at the very centre of everything we do.

"This positive judgement reflects that commitment. While it is welcome, we know there is more to do, and we will continue working closely with customers to deliver further improvements."

Alongside the C1 consumer rating, we retain G1 governance and V2 viability ratings from the Regulator.

The ratings reflect both the strength of our governance arrangements and our continued financial stability and resilience.
